Summer Nights

I feel like a little mommy but all of my "chicks" (roomies) are back in town and all is well here! I am so excited to have them all back and I have so many plans for them (little do they know).

Here in San Marcos, summers are very nice, one because all of the crazy college students aren't in town. Yes, I am one coupled into that category, but I enjoy life in the slow lane :-) and two because here in S.M. we have Music in the Park and Movies in the Park on Tuesdays and Thursdays of every week starting in July. This is one thing I ADORE because it helps to tie in the family scene with "the rest" of S.M.'s citizens, which is the college students, haha!

Every movie they play is a Pixar or Family Friendly film and it always makes a summer evening feel relaxing/eventful. The bands are fun too because they have a variety from Folk music to Mariachi! Needless to say, the roomies will be suckered into a few of these soon, very soon! (And hopefully C when he's back in town)

Summer school starts again tomorrow. I am thankful for the weekend, it was very relaxing and a good way to boost my spirits for the next couple of weeks! Not to mention the sermon our pastor preached this morning on families and mariages which was def. one to take notes on and encourage others with. God is good, and always faithful when I need it the most. Blessings to all this week as you enjoy whatever fun summer holds for you!
