As for today, the photoaday is "kitchen" and I don't have my wall quite finished, on the list for the weekend & I'll update then!
Anywho, would hate to skip a week so lets combine Thursday&Friday in this one! Ready, set, go...
Thankful Thursday
This week I am thankful for my mothers. I have hands down the absolute best mother in the world, nothing compares to her endless possibilities from encouraging advice to making anything imaginable in the crafting world. I mean someone who can plan a wedding 6 hours away, top that:)
Speaking of weddings, this Mother's Day is special because Chance and I both get to celebrate having two moms instead of just 1! What a serious blessing! I am so blessed to have inherited such a sweet mother in law and I know Chance would say the same. Happy Mothers Day to our MOMS!!
Full of Fame Friday
This weeks features are a nice array from Sports to Politics, you may can guess those two and a tad random!
From the Texas Rangers' Josh Hamilton's amazing feat this week with four home runs in one game, I mean that is awesome! Chan and I watch literally almost every Rangers game and for some reason he wasn't watching that one and I caught the tail end, we were so happy for him though. Growing up playing softball I understand the uniqueness of such an event and applaud him greatly. Maybe that'll help some folks lay off him a bit about the seasons earlier incident. I laugh because I kept defending him saying "he's human" and "we all make mistakes"...but is he seriously human?! hehe
This week Pres. Obama backed his support for the union of one sex marriages and equal rights. I am not going to go into that here, not the time nor the place-over the internet seriously? But I had to think of how different our view on this matter has become in the past few years. I'm not sure if it's because I'm getting older and finally seeing peoples opinions or if the topic really is everywhere I turn these days. Either way, I really liked the debate two pastors put up here on the news in DFW, it was quite interesting and the perfect representation of how things can be construed. I can't seem to find it but Here's a link to another interview on the matter with one of the Pastors responses: NBCDFW
In less controversial news American Idol is winding down for the season! There are 3 finalist left and my favorite Phil Phillips made the cut! I had a scare last night when it came down to him and Holly but he prevailed (yay!). I really like how unique he is, who are you rooting for? My prediction is the two guys to the end.
Happy Mother's day to all the mommies!! I'm off to garage sales tomorrow for fun home project finds & then to the ballet tomorrow evening to see a sweet little gals performance!
xoxo
