My Granny

The 27th of January marks one month since we lost our beautiful Granny. I have already found myself picking up the phone to call her several times when driving home from work (which was our usual talk time). I've noticed the days I've done this have been days I had a rough time and could use her wisdom to remind me of why I chose my profession or just the opposite, I have really great news that I can't wait to tell her! These days usually result in the rest of my commute in prayer telling God to "relay this to Granny":) That's the type of person Gran was, one who would lead you to the feet of Christ. One who shared in your joys and sorrows assuring you God ordains them both. I  miss you daily Granny but am oh so thankful for all you've taught me! 

Fun Memories:

*New card games being taught by her and Pawpaw

*After school picking me up and occasionally getting to go to Sonic for tater tots and a coke, extra ice of course! 

*When I got older, our conversations about Chance and what he would need to do to be my husband (she had all sorts of demands, and made them known;) 

*My year long job search that she just knew would work out...and it did! 

*Phone calls because a recipe didn't work and I couldn't understand why, I had done everything she said!! And the laughter on the other end when she forgot to mention a step:)

*More phone calls when I moved away to college and she would ask me to help her fix her computer over the phone...who knew this was some of the best training I got for giving clear instructions for teaching later down the road!
