My Choice Monday?

I still haven't come up with inspiration for Mondays, so I'm gonna claim my choice Mondays for now...then it'll be "my choice" to change it on down the road:)

Today's theme will be the highlights of My Day:

Jogging: I am SO in love with running & glad to be back in the habit since our move! It's so much nicer to have a neighborhood to run in too, nothing like a big apartment parking lot to leave behind;) I have started slow, like really slow, maybe .8 miles running & walking the rest since my knee tends to give out on me otherwise so I'm up to running 1.8 miles now, hopefully good ole knee will hang in there to 2.5-3.0 mark. Don't really care to do more than that unless I decide to run another half marathon (Funny thought:)

Mowing the Lawn: After my first experience, today was a much bigger success. When we got our mower I decided to surprise Chan & mow...I just know the entire neighborhood had to have been cracking up @ my poor attempt. But not today little stay @ home mommas, I got the front & back mowed & swept up (no we're not fancy enough nor have a big enough yard to own a blower) in 45 minutes! Don't imagine how small the yard must be to do this, we love our little space:)

Kohls trip with the hub: This is most likely only a highlight for my day. In & out with the pair of $9.59 sandals I saw online, score!

Finally, an evening of Rangers baseball & Maverick basketball games on tv, a new devotional started & a yummy bowl of granola for a late night snack!

Verse 2 of Galatians 6 was a good reminder tonight here it is in context (vs.1-3) The Message

Live creatively, friends. If someone falls into sin, forgivingly restore him, saving your critical comments for yourself. You might be needing forgiveness before the day's out. Stoop down and reach out to those who are oppressed. Share their burdens, and so complete Christ's law. If you think you are too good for that, you are badly deceived. (Galatians 6:1 MSG)

Cheers to Monday!
