Kenya Sheik Djibouti? [Mad Gab of the night]

The past two evenings have been fun filled indeed! Our first Refuge @ BSM kicked off the new semester last night on the patio of LBJ Student Center with free pancakes, worship by the band and an awesome testimony by Jenny! [ Along with all sorts of other adventures right Aub.?! ]

Tonight marked the second Progressive Dinner for me and some of my girlfriends! For those of you who aren't quite sure what this is... You begin at someone's home for an appetizer (and gab), then your "progress" to the next groups home for an entree (and gab) then you finish at the last home for dessert (you guessed it, and gab)! We have so much fun doing these and enjoyed our last one on July 4th with fireworks.

Tonight's Menu Included:

• Aub's House: Home made Italian bread with delicious herb dipping sauce (Look out Johnny Carino's)
• M&A's House: Scrumptious Crawfish Fettucinne (I heart Louisianna cousine)
• My House: Butterfinger Candy Bar Cake (Thanks K.J. for the recipe!) & Hazelnut Decaf Coffee
  

After dessert we played a few rounds of Catch Phrase and a game of Mad Gab. The girls tickled my fancy by watching "There Was an Old Lady Who Swallowed A Fly" on DVD (thanks C for the wonderful storybook collection for my bday!!) Everything ended up going over so well and I can't wait to do our next one. Which is next weekend right girls? ;) We missed you Jenny (unfortunatley you don't like crawfish or butterfinger and wouldn't have enjoyed this menu at all!).

I am so thankful for fun evenings with friends!
