Children are from the Lord, no doubt!

Well, a late Friday night lesson planning while hanging out with Moni:) I am officially in FULL swing of student teaching and loving my big first graders! The daily challenges are such a reminder how personal the God I serve is, He created each child differently and I am learning, maybe more than them:)
This week I taught the Math Calendar...which is a daily routine in first grade coupled with Math (this week was money)! The students love talking about how much money the tooth fairy brings them because this is when they start losing teeth! Every other day someone has a snaggle tooth and I love seeing the excitement in their eyes, oh what a moment to share!

Next week I'll be going a little stronger and adding Phonics to the weekly routine so lesson planning has officially begun...not too bad, YET!

I am so blessed and can't wait to see what else is in store for this semester. My heart has already been reverted back to childhood...oh how light it is, I love it! Thank you Father for children, they are a beautiful reminder of your always returning love:) The students remind me of this love when I have to repremand them(and feel awful), somehow @ the end of the day they still give me a happy high-five!
