Not only will student teaching begin on Tuesday, wedding planning is in full swing and won't halt until May 2011 @ the Baker house:)
After a fun weekend of my parents visiting San Marcos taking pictures of the church, trying on wedding gowns, scoping out hotels etc. it is official...wedding planning is busy! I have really enjoyed making decisions and researching "better deals" all around the hill country. There's no better feeling than to save a dime here and there...especially the amount of dimes it takes to plan a wedding ;)
This weekend was the perfect "blast off" to the semester. I said, "yes to the dress"...the very first one I tried on @ the bridal boutique, of course after trying on half a dozen others. We also got to look at our reception venue through the windows (C and I have already gone for the tour). Loads more decisions were made and this next week or two will finalize reserving all of that sort of thing. Overall, I am ready to begin Student Teaching. I am SO thankful for the perfect timing of the engagement, giving me two full weeks to research and plan but I am ready to get moving with school again. I think my graduation has kind of been pushed to the back burner (rightfully so), but I def. don't want to skip right over the accomplishment so now it's time to put my good time management skills into practice and share both adventures equally!

I smile every time I read your blog! I love updates from you. I am so excited for all the things you have coming up. My one piece of advice (whether you want it or not...) take lots of pictures so that you have those memories! It will fly by. Can you believe that when your wedding gets here we will have been married for 3 years????
